Ms. Dua’a Abdulgadir Abubeker wins 2022 HNS

The Neberai Foundation is pleased to announce Ms. Dua’a Abdulgadir Abubeker as the winner of the 2022 Hummed Neberai Scholarship. 

Biography

Ms. Dua’a Abdulgadir Abubeker was born in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She completed high school in 2019 and joined the Faculty of Law in Cairo University, Cairo for her Bachelor degree studies. She has successfully passed the first term examinations and has recently completed the second term examinations. Among her several hobbies is photography, for which she has co-founded a photography club in Cairo since 2019. 

The Neberai Foundation wishes Ms. Dua’a Abdulgadir Abubeker continued success in her academic and professional endeavors.

About the Hummed Neberai Scholarships

HUMMED NEBERAI SCHOLARSHIPS (HNS)

The Hummed Neberai Scholarship fund was launched in July 2016 as a perpetual charitable fund (صدقة جارية) in commemoration of the exemplary life and legacy of the late Hajj Hummed Ibrahim Neberai of Keren, Eritrea. HNS is fully and exclusively funded by the children and grandchildren of Hajj Hummed Neberai, and administered by the Neberai Foundation, a non-profit corporation registered in the State of Illinois, USA.

Hummed Neberai Scholarships (HNS) are merit-based; two applicants with outstanding academic records, leadership potential, and community activism are selected annually for the $4,000 to $5,000 (USD) awards.
