2018/19

The Neberai Foundation is pleased to announce that Miss. Bashayer Ahmed Idris Mohammed and Mr. Mohammed Mahmoud Mohammed Ismail competed with a significant number of applicants from Eritrea, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Malaysia, Sudan, Ethiopia, USA, Uganda, Canada, and South Africa to win the 2018 HNS scholarships.

Brief biography: Ms. Bashayer Ahmed Idris Mohammed was born in the city of Albaha in Saudi Arabia. She completed high school in 2012 in Albaha and joined the Ibn Sina University in Khartoum, Sudan. Currently, Ms. Ahmed is a third year student reading for a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy and Rehabilitation. Ms. Beshayer has an outstanding academic record, and enjoys writing about community activities. 

Brief biography: Mr. Mohammed Mahmoud Mohammed Ismail was born in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He completed high school in 2016 in Jeddah and joined the Eastern Mediterranean University at Famagusta, North Cyprus in 2016. Currently, Mohammed Mahmoud is a second year student reading for a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering.  He has an excellent academic record and has been involved in cancer charity work.

Both Ms. Bashayer and Mr. Mohammed Mahmoud intend to keep their exemplary academic records and community activities through the remainder of their university education. The Neberai Foundation wishes Miss. Beshayer Ahmed Idris Mohammed and Mr. Mohammed Mahmoud Mohammed Ismail continued success.


2017/18

The Neberai Foundation is pleased to announce that Miss. Futum Musa Adem Mohamed and Mr. Idris Abdella Ibrahim Elhaj have won the 2017 Hummed Neberai Scholarship awards.

Miss. Futum Musa Adem Mohamed and Mr. Idris Abdella Ibrahim Elhaj competed with over 50 applicants from Eritrea, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Malaysia, Sudan, Ethiopia, USA, Uganda, Canada, and South Africa to win the 2017 HNS scholarships.

Brief biography: Miss Fatum Musa Adem Mohammed was born in the city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. She completed high school in 2010 in Jeddah and joined the Faculty of Medicine in the University of Tripoli, Libya in 2012. Currently, Ms. Mohamed is a fourth year medical student in the University of Tripoli with an outstanding academic record.

Brief biography: Mr. Idris Abdella Ibrahim Elhaj participated in the Sudanese Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination in 2016 and won admission to the Medicine and Surgery Program at Hayatt University College in Khartoum, Sudan. Currently, Mr. Elhaj is a second year medical student. Last year, as a freshman, Mr. Elhaj won the most prestigious award of Hayatt University. Mr. Elhaj intends to keep this exceptional standard of excellence till graduation.

2016/17

Mr. Sied Mohammed Ali

The Neberai Foundation is pleased to announce that Mr. Sied Mohammed Ali of Ala-Bolsoto, Eritrea has won the first Hummed Neberai Scholarship Award.

Mr. Sied competed with 32 highly qualified applicants from Eritrea, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Ethiopia and South Africa to win the 2016 HNS scholarship. Mr. Sied is a second year student in the Tibilisi Medical Teaching University in Tiblisi, Georgia.

Brief biography: Mr. Sied Mohammed Ali was born in the village of Ala-Bolosto, near Dekemhare in Eritrea. He left his hometown and family to continue his education at the Dekemhare Comprehensive Junior and Secondary School. In 2007 he completed his studies at the Warsay Ykealo Secondary School in Sawa.

Mr. Sied passed the 2007 ESLE (Eritrean national secondary school leaving examination) with distinction, scoring 3.8/4.0, and went on to join the Orotta School of Medicine in Asmara, Eritrea. He is currently enrolled in the Tbilisi Medical Teaching University, in Tibilisi, Georgia.
